Progress
Our game is coming along nicely. Right now, we're working on drawing it all out. In a week or two that should be finished though. My teammates are a really big help. Soon enough, we'll have it all drawn out and all we'll need to do is code it and add sounds and it'll work perfectly. I think it'll be a fun game that kids will enjoy playing while they learn about mulitplication.

EGMS Games
Today we went and looked at Eastern Greenbrier Middle School's wiki. We looked at their games, and found plenty of great game ideas. There was one kid who had a title page that was really cool. It had three doors, one labeled play, one about, and one help. It was all he had done, but it was done very well. Another game concept I was impressed with was one about a vet. I thought it was a marvelous idea, and it would be a rewarding game to play. All the kids really have such great ideas.

RIP Jordan
Two months ago a classmate died -- Jordan McClanahan. We all still miss him dearly. He was an amazing person and an incredible athlete. He brought joy to everyones days. Its still tough now, going on without him. I don't think there was another person quite like him. <3

Game Presentations
We had our game presentations last week. I think they went pretty good, all in all. It was really nervewracking before hand though. I don't think anybody really wanted to do presentations, because everyone was scared of what might happen. After presentations got started everything calmed down though. It was fun and they liked our game idea. They said they thought it was creative and it looked like it'd be fun. They told us to add descriptive scenes in between our action scenes, sort of like narrations.

Assembling the Game
We're finishing up our "Assembling the Game" unit. Its the unit where we make our game into a workable demo to present. Its been a chalenging unit. I've still got to get it coded the right way. Its been fun though, because our games are finally starting to come together. I'd have to say the hardest part of this unit is to get it to work the way we want it to. For example, we had to figure out how to make our ninja, Ling Chou, move from one screen to another by him just walking across the screen. I'm excited to see how our game turns out though. Its almost time to start presenting our game and seeing how that goes. :)
